Overview of the role:
Manage the design process through different project stages to ensure compliance of project designs with time, cost, and quality requirements; and proper achievement of the project vision
What you will do:
- Manage the design process, overseeing Project Engineer and consultants from Pre-Concept to Detailed Design stages.
- Interface with stakeholders and consultants to obtain requirements and ensure timely communication of project information.
- Advise on layout, design, and construction approaches, prepare design briefs, studies, and obtain statutory approvals for the project.
Job Context:
- Manage the design process, obtain stakeholder approvals, and ensure compliance with cost and program parameters.
- Oversee Tender Documents, including pre-tender briefings and As-Built drawings, while interfacing with Operations, Commercial Management, Marketing, Sales, and Leasing teams.
- Report on project development, monitor unit performance, and provide support across various stages, from design to procurement and marketing.
Skills
Required Skills to be successful:
Minimum Experience: 12 years of experience with at least 5 years in Design Management position
Job-Specific Skills:
- Arabic and English proficiency is a must.
- Professional skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and digital imaging software
