- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network devices, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to staff, resolving issues with hardware, software, and network connections.
- Monitor system performance, anticipate potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and security trends.
- Document IT processes, create system guidelines and manuals for end-users.
- Conduct regular system audits and prepare IT status reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate IT-related needs and improve overall efficiency.
- Manage IT inventory, including procurement and maintenance of equipment and software licenses.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and various operating systems.Familiarity with common cybersecurity practices and risk management.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar are advantageous (accept self-study).Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks such as installing hardware.
