We seek an experienced E-commerce Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
As an E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing our online sales platform and ensuring the success of our e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, focusing on driving sales, improving user experience, and optimizing conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets
- Manage all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, website traffic, and customer engagement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure a seamless online shopping experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce, and implement innovative strategies to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact the success of the e-commerce platform
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, such as payment processors, shipping providers, and technology providers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to e-commerce, such as data protection and consumer rights
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in e-commerce, and make recommendations for new tools and technologies that could improve efficiency and effectiveness
Preferred Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a similar industry
- Demonstrated success in driving online sales and achieving revenue targets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or Magento
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with optimizing website content for search engines
- Understanding of user experience principles and ability to identify and resolve usability issues
- Experience with digital marketing, including email marketing, social media advertising, and content marketing
- Knowledge of online payment systems and experience with managing payment gateways
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong project management skills
