Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Software Quality Engineer located in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. The Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software by conducting software testing, creating and executing test cases, and working closely with the software development team. The role will involve identifying and reporting bugs and issues and collaborating with the development team to implement improvements and enhancements.Job DescriptionUnderstand business objectives and requirementsReview business/software requirements and provide inputsDesign, execute, and maintain test cases.Report issues through bug-tracking systems.Investigate reported issues and follow up until they are resolved.Contribute to quality and functionality improvement of the software.Provide accurate estimations of the deliverables and fulfill them (time estimation and story sizing).Perform Functional and non-functional testing.Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.Ability to create and execute test casesHelp troubleshoot issuesJob Requirements:Qualifications & Work Experience1-3 years of experience in software testingStrong knowledge of testing methodologies, testing types, tools, processes, and best practicesExperience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reportsExperience in using Bug Tracking Systems like "Jira, DevOps"Knowledge of ERP Systems like ErpNext or Odoo.ISTQB certification is a plusAutomation Testing using selenium is a plusKnowledge of SQL Server is a plusDevOps or ALM system-related experience is a plusExcellent command of the English languageAgile project experience is a plusExperience using API test tools, e.g. PostmanBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
