Overview:

Overseas Trader that will be responsible for developing and driving forward trading of raw material operations in Egypt, finding new leads, to develop and executing business with existing and new customers.

Key deliverables (Essential duties and responsibilities)

  1. To visit and build relations with customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.

to reinforce Longulf’s reputation in the market and to maintain high standards of supply and service to customers and gathering market and customer information:

  1. Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
  2. To receive, process and respond rapidly and positively to Group customer requests for quotations for goods to maximize Longulf’s opportunities to win business and negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  3. To generate third party trades for packaging products
  4. To seek out and analyze potential customers with the express purpose of establishing sustained commitments on both sides.
  5. Analyzing market trend & potential, discover new opportunities for growth and close eye on competitor’s activities in market and brief manager and team accordingly.
  6. To manage contracts through shipment and final outturn to ensure that Longulf’s obligations are fulfilled and To liaise closely with logistics, accounts, and documentary team to ensure that they are clear upon what is required of them and that concerned parties work as a team to achieve the company’s overall objectives.
  7. To inform and advise the Packaging Raw Materials Manager of opportunities to ensure that the Division’s strategy and forecasts are achieved.
  8. representing company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  9. liaising with manager to check the progress of existing orders.
  10. reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  11. Helping operation chief executive in purchasing and implanting deals with foreign supplier making sure cargo meeting, right products specifications, packing, etc.
  12. Managing foreign suppliers’ accommodations in Egypt and establishing meeting programs with potential buyers.
  13. Following up with customers post every shipments & collecting comment to be considered in future business.

 

 

 


Core competencies required to perform effective in this roleUniversity degree.Fluent English.Proficient in office tools.Knowledge of packaging raw materials is an asset.Excellent knowledge of shipping documents and incoterms.Min. 5 years' experience in packaging raw material or sales in international markets.Able to work under pressure, agile, result oriented, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded.Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers.Strong problem-solving skills and able to manage multiple tasks environment.
