Reports to Operational Manager - IT Service Delivery Lead MEAFunctional Area - ITDivision - IT APAC & MEA (regional team)Your Role:The Network Technical Support Engineer main role is to ensure proper IT operations so that end users can accomplish their business tasks with the highest possible quality. This includes troubleshooting, configuration, ticket handling, users support and service managementA Typical Day:Agree and manage quality of telecoms services with IT customersProvide guideline and governance for the WLAN and LAN environment according to Electrolux rulesEnsure management of the Electrolux WAN environment (including Internet connectivity)Provide 1st and 2nd level support in the network areaAssure Correct sizing, implementation, configuration and monitoringManage the quality of Network services according to the Business requirementsManage SLA’s and service contracts with external suppliersWork closely with the other Telecoms team on the implementation of new network infrastructure/services or on the enhancement of the existing oneManage infrastructure installations, ensuring compliance with group and IT standards and ensuring compatibility and consistency across the global infrastructuresEnsure local activities are performed in line with the global guidelineMaintain configuration and asset inventory & documentation for dataAssist in setting up the relevant budgets and apply strict cost control to meet budget targetsSupport non-Network projects by ensuring that the underlying Network infrastructure can support newproject (upgrades, changes etc)Support both operations and business staff for problem resolution and new implementationsMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknessesEnsure proper management of the network infrastructure including SW upgrade, replacement of EoS/EoL devices and vulnerability fixconfigure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls.Ensure proper handling of ticket within Electrolux SLA and according to priorityEnsure all issues are properly logged while prioritizing and managing many open cases simultaneously .In this role, you will be dealing with Electrolux’s Internal customers , IT Different functions and Global functions all over Electrolux , You should be confident in dealing with all levels of management As well.In Electrolux, we encourage open communication at all levels and put emphasis in dealing with our customers as well as colleagues with integrity and respect. You will be working in Greatest Cairo sites and 10th of Ramadan , Egypt on regular working hours and may be required to travel to other sites.Who You Are:Someone with distinctive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Advanced analytical skills and attention to detailProven ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and proceduresHave the ability to work as an effective and contributing team memberAbility to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.Work on projects aside to the day to day operationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills & client service skillsProfessional image with the ability to form good partner relationships across functionsDifferent roles & responsibilities may be assigned to this position according to changes in the supported business area.EDUCATIONBS degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or relevant fieldEnglish Fluency both written and verbalProven experience in a network administrator role.Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of NW Infrastructure.Experience on the Firewall and Remote access servicesFamiliarity with backup and recovery software and methodologiesGreat at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.Good understanding of telecom networks (2G,3G, LTE & Microwave).Very good knowledge of CISCO technologiesDeep knowledge of Networking functions TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and Routing protocols .CCNA certified (CCNP is a plus).Additional certification in Microsoft (MCSE), (MOS), Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.ExperienceProven 5 years work experience as a Network Administrator or similarKeeping you Healthy and SafeWe want you to return home in even better shape than when you started, so we need you to help us do this - by making sure you follow a few simple steps.
