In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

Material Selection: Recommend materials that align with design objectives and project specifications. Collaborate closely with design teams to contribute valuable insights to the material selection process based on project requirements.

Proposal and Budgeting: Prepare comprehensive material proposals and budgets, including detailed specifications and cost estimates. Conduct thorough market research to ensure accurate budgeting and propose cost-effective alternatives when necessary.

Procurement: Issue purchase orders with meticulous record-keeping for orders and deliveries. Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Proposal Evaluation: Analyze technical and financial proposals from suppliers, ensuring both technical and financial feasibility.

Approval Management: Follow up on proposal and material list approvals, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely progress. Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor approval status.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable contract conditions with subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure contracts align with project and organizational objectives.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relations with suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct regular performance reviews, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
