We are looking for outstanding candidates to join a world-wide team driving our circuit simulation product, AFS®.CKTSIM RF QA Engineers are technical experts focused on circuit simulation challenges and issues. They study and guarantee fulfillment of customer requirements in cross-functional product teams. They analyze and profile software on large sets of analog circuits (e.g. ADC, PLL, SerDes, VCO, PA, LNA, Mixer, Memories, High-Speed IOs) to help improve simulation and analysis.Responsibilities:Aim to reach a high quality level for Mentor Graphics Analog Circuit simulators (Eldo Platform™ and Analog FastSPICE (AFS) Platform™).Collaborate with RD to Debug Customer Design issues in simulation and propose solutions.Participate in the test plan and quality plan definition of the simulator features/analysis in coordination with development and marketing teams.Design innovative scenarios targeting to hit different simulator areas and use model of different customers.Analyze Customer Designs results, setups, accuracy of outputs and simulator performance for both pre-layout and post-layout circuits.Provide Reports to upper management summarizing RF analysis overall status in terms of functionality, accuracy and performance for certain customer use models.Test and monitor simulator performance reporting any significant performance degradation.Create various test cases to evaluate new features using analog design languages (Spice, Verilog-A).Analyze defects reported by customers then Design and automate the circuit accuracy checks for the customer designs.Run the adequate tests, analyze the test reports, make the diagnosis of problems, report them to development teams and possibly suggest the way to solve them.Use products as a designer and report issues and suggestions to enhance them to meet customer needs.Work closely with the developers and the Product Engineers to optimize the development and validation cycle time in an Agile process.Requirements:B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communication/Computer Engineering.Experienced in RF Analog Circuit Design and simulation.Experience in writing Verilog-A descriptions is a plus.Good knowledge of RF concepts and RF design and simulation is desired.Knowledge in Shell Scripting and UNIX knowledge. Programming and development experience.Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills for highly collaborative work with adjacent teams in Europe and the US.Self-Motivated, highly attentive to details and able to work independent.We’re Siemens.
