- Admissions & Student Affairs will be a member of the Admissions & Student Affairs Team with responsibility for the Admissions, Recruitment & Student Affairs roles of STA applicants & students.
- S/he will be working closely with different departments STA and directly with applicants.
- S/he will also be expected to participate in recruitment activities such as Open Days, Education fairs & Employment fairs, and to support other Registry activities in a professional and flexible manner.
- This varied role requires the exercise of independent judgment and initiative, strong administrative and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Implementing the Admissions cycle comprehensively.
- Implement the admissions & Registrar processing of a portfolio of programs in close liaison with different departments, applying agreed criteria to make admissions decisions consistently and fairly.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries from prospective students, their parents, teachers, and advisors independently and in a timely and professional manner.
- Process incoming applications, checking qualifications, the validity of decisions, and the authenticity of results.
- Enter decisions and generate offers using the STA Student Record system and other databases with the aim of 100% accuracy.
- Monitor the responses of applicants to decisions and provide data to STA Departments on applicant status and workflow.
- Check and verify the fee classification of applicants.
- Prepare and maintain the database.
- Handle all inquiries in a courteous and helpful way; these may be by telephone, Social Media, email, letter, and fax or in person.
- Monitor Request Tracker (web-based enquiry system) queues and help collect data related to all admissions enquiries.
- Assist in any recruitment/ employment activities
- Assist with the production and distribution of publicity materials and updating of web
- Implementing the Registrar cycle comprehensively.
- Work on all the Registrar Tasks and requests (Exam prep., Attendance reports, Inserting schedules on
- outlook and attendance system, issue transcripts, enrollment certificates, send warning emails, etc…)
- Handle students' inquiries & requests.
- Register all students on the system according to STA needs.
- Keep the students' database updated and add all their data to the system.
- Serving 100% of visits (students) assigned to the employee.
- Work on all the needed exam preparations.
Bachelor’s Degree in any field required, in Education or related field preferred.1-2 years of experience in Admissions & Student affairs in a universityFluency of English written and spoken.
