As a member of the supply chain you will be in involved in a 360 view of all aspects, specifically:
Procurement:
- Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier compliance ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
Inventory:
- Streamline processes for customer order processing, and demand fulfillment to increase productivity and meet customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate action.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stock outs or overstocks.
Logistics:
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules for local as well as international deliveries.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities for incoming goods, including customs clearance and delivery.
Planning:
- Production planning based on marketing and sales input.
- Converting the production plan into required resources and planning their procurement/availability.
Bachelor's Degree.2-5 years experience.A good command of the English Language.Supply Chain knowledge/training/certification is a plus. Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools, Excel…etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
