You will be responsible for providing remote and on-site application support of our EDA solutions for local and EMEA based customers. The ideal candidate will come from a development/programming background and be looking to develop their skills and experience in application support.Main ResponsibilitiesIntegrating complex software stacks implemented in various programming languages and frameworks in pre-Silicon environments such as simulation/emulationWorking through different aspects of embedded software development and testing cycles with deep focus on design and programming.Integrating Software and Hardware components.Working with customers in the deployment of Shift Left Software product lines and providing technical support as needed.Working closely with R&D and marketing organizations to facilitate understanding of customer use cases and feature requestsRequired skills, knowledge and experienceB.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.Strong experience in C/C++ Programming.Basic knowledge of digital circuits and digital design/systems.Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.Knowledge/experience with one or more of the following is preferredAndroid, Yocto Linux and Real Time Operating Systems such as BlackBerry QNX®RTL / VerilogSystemCTLMScripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, Tcl)ISO26262 or other safety standardsWorking at Siemens EDAWhy us?Working at Siemens EDA means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
