About the Opportunity:
Green Tech Egypt/Renergy Group Partners present a unique opportunity for individuals to be part of the Employers organisation during the EPC construction of Egypt’s first Waste-to-Energy project.

Responsibilities:
As a Site Instrument Engineer specialed in industrial projects, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing design documents, drawings, specifications, data sheets, work procedures, etc.
  • Supervising all instrument related activities on-site on behalf of the Employer.
  • Verifying on-site works against established procedures and specifications.
  • Coordinating daily activities with the EPC contractor and other stakeholders.
  • Share in solving problems and provide engineering solutions during Final and Detailed design stage and during Construction stage.
  • Coordinating and witness (international) Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Review pre-commissioning/commissioning and performance tests procedures, witness performance tests, assist during plant start-up.

Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager during the Final Design and Procurement stages. Throughout the Construction phase, your reporting will be to the Site Construction Manager.

Contract Details:

  • Employment Duration: 2 years with a 1-month trial period.
  • Work Location: Employer’s offices at the project site in Abu Rawash (Giza).
  • Working Schedule: 6 days a week (Saturday-Thursday), averaging 9 hours per day.

Minimum Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:Electrical Engineering (Communications) degree from a reputable university.A minimum of 7 years of extensive experience in reviewing designs and supervising instrument systems on industrial projects.Experience with DCS control systems and automation.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.Proficiency in English and Arabic, both in speaking and writing.
