As a Freight Forwarding Accounting Manager, your responsibilities may include:
1. Managing financial transactions related to freight forwarding operations, such as invoicing, payment processing, and monitoring accounts receivable and payable.
2. Overseeing budgeting and forecasting for freight forwarding services, tracking financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
3. Collaborating with internal teams to analyze cost structures, optimize pricing, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
4. Communicating with clients, vendors, and carriers to resolve billing discrepancies, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
5. Supervising a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support, and conducting performance evaluations.
6. Developing and implementing financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
7. Participating in financial audits, preparing financial reports and analysis, and presenting financial data to senior management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.2. Previous experience in accounting, finance, or freight forwarding industry.3.
