Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the food processing and packaging industry in Egypt and Africa.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including food manufacturers, processors, and packaging companies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients regarding food processing solutions, packaging equipment, and instruments.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for customers and prospects.
  • Understand and communicate the features, benefits, and applications of our products to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address customer feedback and customize solutions as needed.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment and instruments.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance services to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively recommend product upgrades, enhancements, or additional services.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Provide input and feedback to the marketing team regarding product positioning, messaging, and promotional activities.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or technical certification is a plus.Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the food processing or packaging industry.Strong technical aptitude and understanding of food processing equipment, packaging solutions, and related instruments.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels.Ability to travel extensively within Egypt and across Africa, as required.Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in Africa is desirable.
