The Early Childhood Education Teacher Trainer (ECD TT) will be responsible to plan, organize and execute a wide range of training activities for the teaching teams in the various ECD Centers/preschools of Innovvette. The training should be mainly focused on delivering hands-on experience to the teachers. The ECD TT’s responsibilities include monitoring teacher performance, observing classes, making assessments, and scheduling workshops / meetings, as well as, one-on-one training. S/he should be able to engage with teachers from a range of different backgrounds and provide helpful feedback. The ECD TT will be accountable for upgrading and developing a group of assigned Teachers and Assistant Teachers to reach the agreed upon quality level and technical skills in ECD. The ECD TT will report directly to the Education Director and will work according to the agreed upon curriculum guidelines and philosophy of Innovvette.
Working experience with training needs assessment of teaching teams, as well as, the ability to design & deliver appropriate training initiatives to meet those needs. Ability to research latest developments in the ECD field to upgrade own knowledge and skills. Ability to self-motivate, establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with minimum supervision. Excellent analytical & problem-solving abilities with a high degree of patience & resilience. Proficiency in both written & spoken English & Arabic. French is a definite plus.
