At Gympass (Permanent), in Brazil Salary: R$384.091 - R$426.767 Expires at: 2024-05-08 Remote policy: Full remote We are hiring a Principal Software Engineer to our BASE Focus Area in Brazil !  This team is responsible for the platform that serves the entire Gympass business, processing millions of transactions for users and companies around the globe. We work closely with cross functional teams and payment service providers to deliver optimum checkout conversion rates and also efficient account management interactions. They are creating a new architecture and set of systems that will guarantee consistency across multiple areas and services. YOUR IMPACT

Main requirements

WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
  • Experience with microservices and high volume distributed systems;
  • Solid experience with RESTful APIs written in Spring and Java/ Kotlin;
  • Strong experience with asynchronous processing and data pipelines;
  • Solid architecture knowledge (event-driven architectures; serverless);
  • Software quality and test automation mindset;
  • Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8s) experience;
  • Experience with SQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server or any other relational database;
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
