Support Engineer, you will assume a leadership role within the service desk team, providing technical expertise and support to end-users while ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. Your responsibilities will encompass advanced troubleshooting, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT support processes:


Server Management:



  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software. 

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal server operation. 


Network Administration: 



  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Implement and troubleshoot network protocols and services.


Security: 



  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.

  • Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.


Backup and Recovery: 



  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical systems and data.

  • Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity.


User Account Management:



  •  Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies for user authentication and authorization.


Software Installation and Updates: 



  • Install, configure, and update software applications and system utilities.

  • Evaluate and test new software releases for compatibility.


Technical Support:



  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues. 

  • Collaborate with helpdesk and support teams for incident resolution. 


Monitoring and Reporting:



  • Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and generate reports.

  • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
