Reports To: Owner, Board of Directors or General Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of hotel rooms, event spaces, and other hotel services to corporate clients, group bookings, and individual travelers. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for the hotel.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other key accounts.
  • Respond to inquiries, negotiate contracts, and prepare proposals for group bookings, meetings, and events.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and marketing teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and sales collateral.
  • Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

 


Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a similar role.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
