We have our global headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany, and have around 75,000 employees internationally.We're looking for a Senior QA Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand FPGA-Based Prototyping and Multiple FPGA Partitioning challenges and qualify new tool features to address them.Test and validate the flow from ASIC design to FPGA implementation.Develop test plans and execute tests for new product features, including HW-SW co-simulation, Power-Aware verification, and memory modeling.Utilize simulation, formal verification, and emulation solutions for FPGA design verification.Participate in various testing phases throughout the release cycle.Validate new FPGA board architectures and HW interfaces.Integrate customer designs and use cases into the testing environment.Maintain build and regression infrastructure.Report and validate defects, prioritize fixes, and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.Implement and monitor qualification techniques such as static code analysis.Evaluate tool capabilities compared to competitors.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.3-5 years of relevant experience.Strong grasp of Digital concepts and RTL Design/Verification.Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages: VERILOG/VHDL or System Verilog.Hands-on experience with FPGA flow and tools like Vivado/Quartus.Familiarity with scripting languages: Shell/Perl/Python.Independent worker with adept testing method selection.Knowledge of Siemens EDA Tools and Quality Assurance Concepts.Understanding of Testing Strategies, Automation Tools, and Defect Tracking Systems.Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively.Why us?Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
