Operation Engineer (HVAC Manufacturing)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operation Engineer to join our team at Castle Engineering Industries. As an Operation Engineer specializing in HVAC manufacturing, you will play a critical role in overseeing the production of ducts, air outlets, dumpers, cable trays, and various HVAC equipment. You will ensure that our manufacturing processes are efficient, effective, and in line with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the manufacturing process of HVAC products from raw materials to finished goods.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment used in HVAC manufacturing.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for compliance and analysis purposes.
• Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC manufacturing or related industries.Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC systems, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software for design and production layouts.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges and optimize processes.Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving production goals.Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: Certification in HVAC systems or related areas is a plus.Project Management: Experience in project management for manufacturing processes.Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.Software Skills: Experience with ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
