Managing Editor:

The Managing Editor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the publication, working closely with the Journal Editor to ensure the smooth functioning of the editorial process. Key job requirements include:

  1. Coordinating the peer-review process by assigning manuscripts to reviewers and monitoring their progress.
  2. Managing the editorial workflow, including tracking submissions, communicating with authors and reviewers, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  3. Assisting the Journal Editor in making editorial decisions, resolving conflicts, and addressing ethical issues.
  4. Editing manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, and style, and ensuring adherence to journal guidelines.
  5. Managing the journal's online submission system and maintaining accurate records of submissions and reviews.
  6. Liaising with authors, reviewers, and production staff to facilitate the publication process.
  7. Assisting with the development of editorial policies, guidelines, and strategic planning initiatives.
  8. Keeping abreast of developments in academic publishing and implementing best practices to improve editorial processes and standards.
