Whatever your career path or specialism Apex provides a global platform to allow you to thrive.<br/><br/>Your main responsibilities:<br/><br/>Performing requisite AML-related risk-based assessments and due diligence checks on<br/><br/>new and existing clients.<br/><br/>Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds'<br/><br/>specifications.<br/><br/>Handling communications with clients for on-boarding of new clients and obtaining<br/><br/>approval of compliance / senior management. This includes funds switching from<br/><br/>another administrator.<br/><br/>Liaising with the Compliance Officer on AML-related matters on existing clients.<br/><br/>Ensuring international client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service<br/><br/>standards on an ongoing basis.<br/><br/>Reviewing of Funds’ offering documents and transactions agreements (subscription,<br/><br/>redemption, transfer, switch) in line with Apex best practice standard and<br/><br/>communication with legal counsel and/or client.<br/><br/>Proofreading of service agreements and drafting of SLA.<br/><br/>Arranging and/or monitoring the opening of bank, custody and brokerage accounts and<br/><br/>liaising with third party service providers.<br/><br/>Registering FFI with the IRS and obtaining GIIN.<br/><br/>Arranging for ISIN and LEI with relevant authorities.<br/><br/>Coordinating with operations for the transition of new funds to ‘Live’ mode.<br/><br/>Ongoing development of the business by liaising with the senior management and<br/><br/>ensuring full communication from bottom up and implementation of new processes and<br/><br/>controls as required.<br/><br/>Arranging and managing termination of services.<br/><br/>Overseeing junior staff awareness and training on onboarding matters.<br/><br/>Handling ad-hoc internal projects to strengthen internal process.<br/><br/>(To<br/><br/>comply with the regulatory requirements, only Saudi nationals<br/><br/>will be considered<br/><br/>for this role)<br/><br/>An individual with<br/><br/>a bachelor/master’s degree<br/><br/>qualification<br/><br/>or equivalent .<br/><br/>Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions.<br/><br/>An ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.<br/><br/>Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience on Paxus or<br/><br/>another fund accounting software is considered an advantage).<br/><br/>A good knowledge of<br/><br/>the funds<br/><br/>industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage<br/><br/>,<br/><br/>Project management skills.<br/><br/>Be comfortable/competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal<br/><br/>terminology,<br/><br/>and fund services<br/><br/>agreements.<br/><br/>Knowledge<br/><br/>of<br/><br/>Client KYC<br/><br/>and Legal contract management<br/><br/>is an<br/><br/>advantage.<br/><br/>Be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic<br/><br/>business.<br/><br/>Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client<br/><br/>relationships.<br/><br/>Excellent<br/><br/>organizational<br/><br/>, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing<br/><br/>mindset.<br/><br/>Professional level of English (spoken and written), Arabic speaker will be an advantage.<br/><br/>What you can expect:<br/><br/>We are looking for a Client Onboarding Manager to work with a top tier financial services provider. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with a good knowledge of the funds industry looking to develop their skills further. The position is very much client facing and will involve client meetings. Additionally, the position will involve a high level of interaction with all functional areas within the Fund administration.<br/><br/>Performance<br/><br/>:<br/><br/>The successful candidate<br/><br/>will be expected to work on his / her own initiative to successfully onboard new fund launches and conversions and ensure a positive<br/><br/>onboarding experience for clients.
