- Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections on heavy equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic problems in heavy equipment and develop appropriate repair strategies.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems, in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrications, and fluid level checks, to ensure equipment runs smoothly and prevents breakdowns.
- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including detailed reports on completed work, parts used, and costs incurred.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment during equipment maintenance activities.
- Preparing the necessary and critical spare parts list.
- Follow up all procedure and check list.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineer or a similar role.In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and transmissions.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop effective repair strategies.
