We are looking for a Supply Lead focused on scaling the HCV (Uber Shuttle) Supply base in Egypt. This is a particularly challenging and rewarding role with huge opportunities but also lots of challenges in light of intense competition and complex market dynamics.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a top priority product and one of Uber's bets and have a direct impact on your city through understanding the supply market and its dynamics and perfecting the operational processes to provide a reliable service to our riders. This is a critical role within the or as you would play a key in implementing the overall strategy for Uber Shuttle across MEA. You will report to the Operations Lead in MEA and be responsible for the execution of the operational strategy to drive safe, reliable and cost efficient service.

What will the candidate do:

• Understand Supply Market Dynamics: With a driver-obsessed mindset, you will work on understanding the core needs for our partner drivers
• Build Processes: Build operational processes that ensure partner drivers’ retention
• Analytics: Track key analytics and provide actionable information and insights to optimize processes
• Strategy: You will work closely with the Network, Marketplace, product and central teams to derive the supply strategy

Skills

• Startup/all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Min 4 years of growth/operations or related experience;
• Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new things beyond the scope of work
• Strong project management skills
