  • Will be reporting to the general legal counsel.
  • Work scope will be engaged with all departments.

 

Job description:

 

  • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and taking appropriate action to create awareness.
  • Developing, enrolling, and maintaining policies and collaborating with the line management of all departments.
  • overseeing and advising on compliance and regulatory matters; educating and training employees on regulations and industry practices.
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
  • Managing regulatory compliance issues including incident management.
  • quarterly compliance reporting, improve efficiency and effectiveness of group compliance reporting.
  • Providing compliance and legal training developing e-learning and webinars, and maintaining procedures that ensure the company complies with applicable legislation and Code of Conduct.
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
  • Lead and commit to Safety rules and standards in every aspect in the Facility.
  • Sharing information and reporting any incidents or near-miss to take immediate remedial action.
  • Play an administrative role in making sure that the environmental organizational objectives comply with the environmental rules & regulations in areas such as air quality, waste, water, and pollution.

Qualifications, skills, and competencies required:Master's degree in law (compliance and Management)10 years relevant working experience within an (international) law firm or Multinational company combined with at least 5 years of working experience as a compliance officer.Highly proficient in the use of PC, especially report writing (word processing), spreadsheets (Excel), and graphical presentation (e.g. Freelance and PowerPoint)high standard of integrity, business ethicsExcellent command of English (both oral and written)Must have the following interpersonal skills:Financial AwarenessLeadershipCommunicationAccountabilityManaging quality and Safety.
