Key Responsibilities:
- Support in routine microbiological testing, in-process samples, and finished products following established procedures and protocols.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and swabbing to ensure cleanliness and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in the preparation and sterilization of media, reagents, and equipment used in microbiological testing.
- Support documentation activities by accurately recording and maintaining test results, laboratory notebooks, and other relevant records.
- Participate in laboratory investigations and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely sample collection, testing, and release of products.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, verification, and routine maintenance as required.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and follow proper waste disposal procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in microbiological testing techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.Strong understanding of microbiological testing techniques and aseptic laboratory practices.Familiarity with GMP and FDA regulations preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proactive and eager to learn new techniques and concepts.Prior experience in a laboratory setting or relevant coursework is a plus.
