- Continuous following up company sales and working on increasing the sales, and suggesting methods for sales performance development
- Achieving the sales target by selling company services through direct sales or tendering activities
- Ensuring the implementation of companies, the business development plans and objectives and following the quarterly evaluation and statistics
- Collaborating with business development manager to set the goals for yearly business development plan
- Following up on closing deals and sales contracting
- Preparing and sending sales reports to Business Development Manager (monthly / quarterly)
- Responsibility for building long term business relationship with current and new clients
- Ensuring that the clients database is updated on a regular basis
- Following up clients’ contracts in Egypt & abroad
- Following up registering with Classification Societies in Egypt as per GM approval and requests
- Following up proposal development and contracting process
- Supervising Business developer and Senior Business Developer
- Reviewing the prepared pre-qualifications in compliance with client requirements in Egypt & abroad and sending them to the Business Development Manager for the final approval
- Reviewing prepared request for Quotations (RFQs) and tenders in Egypt & abroad and sending them to the Business Development Manager for the final approval
- Following up company's recommendation letters in Egypt & abroad and report them to the Business Development Manager to take the appropriate decisions
- Sending marketing reports to Business Development Manager
- Keeping and maintaining all the sales records and all the paperwork that has to do with Business Development Department
- Reviewing the records of company's past experience in Egypt and branches and sending them to the Business Development Manager
- Conducting audits to ensure the updating of all documents and forms of the department on a regular basis.
- Reviewing prepared requests for Quotations (RFQs) and tenders in company’s branches if required.
- Reviewing the pre-qualifications in compliance with client requirements in branches in company’s branches if required.
- Additional duties as required within the limit of the position.
