- Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, and best practices to optimize product quality and minimize defects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and procurement, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to quality team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Analyse quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate quality-related issues, findings, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, quality control plans, and corrective action logs.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role in quality assurance/control.Proven experience working with international brands and familiarity with international quality standards and requirements.Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
