Contracts Team Leader (Head Office)

Job Description

Provide professional advice to contracts team regarding the strategy of issuing claims and insure the implementation is complying with the contract terms and conditions. Review the risk assessment report in the Tender phase to ensure identifying all contractual risk issues that might impact the company during project execution. Lead and coach the team and provide them with the needed support and guidance when needed to improve their performance. Draft MOU, JV and NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) to be signed by the concerned parties. Follow-up the contractual procedures performed by the team to ensure compliance with the company’s regulations and legal requirements. Review/lead the preparation of claims to verify issuing them accurately in a timely manner. Attend necessary meetings in the site to support the senior contract administrator when negotiating the claims with the project team and/or the client. follow up projects regarding all their contractual procedures and issues. Receive Tender, highlight risks in the contract and recommend clauses to mitigate those risks. Attend internal kick-off meeting with the project team to highlight the clauses of the contract. Attend external kick-off meeting with the client to complete the missing clauses and documents. Prepare the contract summary and distribute it among the project team to ensure they abide by the essential legal requirements. Prepare the nominated subcontractors subcontract and review their claims when needed to maintain the company rights. Follow-up the implementation of contract conditions during project execution to verify the application of all conditions efficiently.

Skills

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Law. Contracts or Construction Management Diploma is a plus. 7 - 10 Years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point). Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
