- Participate in the planning of the annual plan of scholarship.
- Update the database as needed for new scholarship recipients and scholarship criteria.
- Determine student eligibility, and counsel students regarding scholarship new opportunities.
- Maintain the scholarship policies, procedures, and operations in collaboration with the director.
- Monitor scholars' academic and non-academic progress to evaluate continued scholarship eligibility; recommend approving or denying student petitions for special conditions or policy appeals.
- Collaborate with the finance department regarding payments, collection of funds, and other financial issues.
- Collaborate with the IT department to automate and update the scholarship data processes.
- Attract new potential donors for scholarships or other purposes.
- Collaborate with the fundraising director in marketing and securing funds for ongoing and new contribution programs.
- Responding to donors’ queries about the City’s constituents, majors, study plans, facilities…etc.
- Reporting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to donors about students’ academic and non-academic performance.
- Preparing financial claims to donors.
- Updating Zewail City’s as well as donors’ databases with information about ongoing scholarship programs.
- Arranging events for donors and their students.
Providing the best quality service to all students and staff and external customers e.g. donors and partners.Fluent in English and Arabic both in reading and writing. Orientation Towards Change and CommunicationExperience with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel, and power campus and/or comparable student system is preferred.
