Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a PHP Backend Developer. The PHP Backend Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with Back-End Web Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Software Development. The role is located in Giza and flexibility to work from home is acceptable.
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Integrate data storage solutions.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Integrate with user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection.
- Design and implement the data storage solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.Strong experience with PHP (Laravel),Good knowledge of MVC design patterns.Understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven architectures.Ideally experienced in the use of Craft CMS, Laravel applications,Experience with UNIX / Linux operating systems, web servers, and security maintenance.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Good English.
