We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial control within our organization. This includes implementing and maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and budgets for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure proper recording and classification of financial transactions.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes.
- Develop and maintain financial control systems and procedures.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial control principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
