Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and improve delivery timelines.

Collaborate with senior management to align supply chain goals with overall business objectives.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.

Monitor industry trends and developments to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the supply chain.

Procurement and Inventory Management:

Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation, to ensure the availability of quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stock-outs, reduce excess inventory, and optimize inventory turnover.

Develop and implement vendor performance evaluation metrics to track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

Logistics and Distribution:

Coordinate and optimize the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to various locations within the hospitality company.

Collaborate with logistics partners to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or delays.

Implement and maintain efficient warehouse and distribution systems to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.

Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including disruptions, quality issues, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Implement robust processes for quality control, product traceability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all supply chain activities.

Develop and implement business continuity plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen events on the supply chain.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead and manage the supply chain team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
