AWS Cloud Engineer - Junior

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer - Junior to join our team. In this role, you will utilize a holistic approach to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their entire life cycle. You will be responsible for generating quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. As a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that requirements comply with client specifications and government standards through formal verification methods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Translate high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications. Work with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements. Establish and coordinate the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to overall product development. Design interfaces and bring system elements together to ensure seamless functionality. Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Act as a customer liaison and provide support for business development activities. Understand and shape requirements based on customer interactions. Participate in system conceptual design and contribute to the documentation of design concepts. Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements. Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system. Trace requirements through compliance verification and validation processes. Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Review test plans/procedures to ensure they meet contractual requirements and actively participate in the testing process to validate requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience or Master's with 0-2 years of experience. Demonstrated understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to cloud-based development and deployment. Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Previous experience in system design and integration. Knowledge of formal verification methods and standards.
