Job Description:Objective: The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales targets by developing business strategies, attracting new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role demands a deep understanding of the CMMS and ERP market, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively sell software solutions that optimize maintenance management and operations.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets. Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and understand competitor strategies. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure they are achieving their sales targets. Provide training and support to improve their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service practices. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable CMMS and ERP solutions that meet their business objectives. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics (e.g., monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) to identify areas for improvement. Adjust sales techniques and strategies as needed. Product Demonstration and Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of the CMMS and ERP software to potential clients. Contract Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients. Close sales and work with the customer success team to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction. Market Analysis and Reporting: Keep abreast of new product launches, changes in the market and industry trends. Provide detailed reports on sales activities, revenues, and expenses to the upper management. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive company efforts and customer satisfaction. RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering , IT or a related field. Proven sales executive experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets ( Must). Prior experience in selling ERP or software or technology solutions. ( Must ). Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and lead a team( Must). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills ( Must). Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics. Knowledge of CRM softwar e and Microsoft Office Suite ( Must )
