Since then we have continued to bring growth and security and safety to the country by upgrading these transportation systems as well as providing solutions for customers in air traffic management, air defence and Navy.Job Purpose:Responsible for all aspects of the planning function for a Project/multiple Projects or ProgramKey Responsibilities and Tasks:Responsible for creating, updating and monitoring Project schedules in P6 including customer and supplier dependencies. Be fully knowledgeable with the project contractual requirements and ensure compliance in execution and reporting Work with the Core Team to generate and validate monthly and quarterly updates of EAC and labour demand. Manage change against the contract baseline in accordance to the change management process; actively assess and communicate changes to the baseline schedule, workload, and EAC to the Project Management team and necessary stakeholders. Provide reports/metrics including Critical Path, Earned Value, S-Curves, EAC variance, Critical milestones movement, KPIs & labor forecasts. Analyze the data in these reports to identify trends, risks, and issues & work with the Core Team to resolve themSupport critical Bids that require a full schedule in the Bid submission:read the tender documents,assess all contractual requirements for both the Bid submission and the Contract execution,assess compliance, feasibility and riskscreate a comprehensive and effective Schedule Narrative when requiredproduce an estimate of the level of effort for the planning function in the projectlead the creation of a project schedule to the level required to be submitted in the bidSupports Project Manager/Director in contract negotiations by providing feedback and recommendations as needed. Support and drive schedule optimization efforts to increase float, secure delivery, and reduce costs/rework. Attend risk and opportunity reviews, assesses schedule impacts and supports planning of risk mitigation. Foster an environment of cooperation, commitment and buy-in amongst the Project Team members and the Heads of DisciplinesWork effectively within a global environment with stakeholders who are geographically dispersedGenerate clear comprehensive reporting to management and customers as required by process or contractSupport the Core Team with creative and effective rationale in the justification and documentation of the basis of Claims and Variation orders during project executionProvide guidance/support as required for the project scheduler and project plannerContribute to process improvement by identifying ideas for improvement and following through to implement where possibleWork Experience, Skills & Qualification Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field7+ years of experience in complex technology projectsPMP or equivalent recommendedExpert level skills in Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project softwareAdvanced/Expert skills in Microsoft ExcelAble to understand complex technology & resolve complex problemsExcellent communication skillsSelf-starting; proactive, able to work independently with little oversight or guidanceAble to plan and manage program schedules including projects requiring over 1,500 activitiesKnowledge of TILOS & Primavera Risk analysis will be added advantage.
