As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing:

• Accurately and efficiently fill prescription orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure the correct medication, dosage, and labeling for each prescription.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Place orders for pharmaceutical supplies and medications as needed.
• Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.

Customer Service:

• Assist customers in person or over the phone, addressing inquiries and providing information about medications.
• Process customer transactions.

Labeling and Packaging:

• Properly label and package medications according to pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all packaging activities.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, medications, and patient information.
• Adhere to privacy regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Quality Control:

• Perform routine quality control checks on medications and inventory.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervising pharmacist.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and other pharmacy staff to ensure seamless workflow.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
