Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Manager role based in Al Minufiyah, Egypt. The Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities for pharmaceutical materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing in line with quality and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing requests for quotations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also involves coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand material needs, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant pharma regulations. The Procurement Manager will continuously analyze market trends, optimize procurement processes, and support risk management related to supply continuity and cost control.
Qualifications
Strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience in sourcing pharmaceutical materials and services. Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Well-developed analytical skills for cost analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards related to procurement. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities under deadlines. Experience with procurement software or ERP systems and proficiency in common office applications. Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical and transparent procurement practices.
