Role Description The Infrastructure Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Markaz Tanta. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related hardware and software. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring network security, and supporting IT operations across the organization. The Infrastructure Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, manage backups and disaster recovery, and maintain documentation of systems and procedures. The role also involves proactively identifying risks, applying best practices in IT governance, and providing hands-on support to internal users.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure and IT Operations skills, including managing servers, storage, and enterprise systems. Candidates should possess solid Networking and Network Security skills, including configuring network devices and implementing security controls. Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Relevant skills such as system administration (Windows/Linux), cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) are highly beneficial. Experience in on-site IT support within a retail or multi-branch environment is an advantage. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Professional certifications (such as Comp TIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar) are a plus.
