Technotaste is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior R&D Engineer to join our Research & Development team in Giza, Egypt.

???? Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and optimize flavor applications for different food and beverage products.
• Work specifically on Beverage Applications, including:
CSD (Carbonated Soft Drinks)
Juices & Juice Drinks
Other beverage formulations and applications.
• Conduct laboratory trials to evaluate flavor performance, taste profile, stability, compatibility, and sensory impact.
• Develop and optimize beverage prototypes through formulation trials and flavor dosage adjustments.
• Evaluate the impact of pH, acidity, sweetness, carbonation, and other formulation parameters on flavor performance.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and comparative testing of developed products.
• Troubleshoot flavor and formulation-related issues and recommend effective technical solutions.
• Support stability and shelf-life studies for new and existing products.
• Prepare customer samples and support technical trials based on customer requirements.
• Work closely with QA/QC, Production, Technical, and Sales teams to support product development and technical problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, laboratory trials, test results, and technical documentation.
• Stay updated on new trends, ingredients, flavor technologies, and beverage applications.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in R&D, preferably within Food, Flavor, Beverage, or FMCG industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or a relevant scientific field.
• Practical knowledge of Flavor Applications and Beverage Formulation is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of beverage ingredients, pH, acidity, sweetness, carbonation, and flavor interactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental skills.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory trials, testing, and product development.
• Good documentation and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• High attention to detail, curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn.
