JOB TITLE
Travel Senior Associate| MAF Global Solutions | Global Solutions
ROLE SUMMARY
Manage travel requests, support in travel cost optimization, and ensure adherence to travel policies for all operating countries.

ROLE PROFILE

• Manageend-to-end business travel arrangements in coordination with the travel agency, including flights, hotels, transportation, visas, and itineraries.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the travel agency, employees/travelers, management, Procurement, and other relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies, contracted corporate agreements, and negotiated rates, while identifying and reporting any exceptions.
• Monitor and audit travel agency performance and controls, ensuring service quality, compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Research and evaluate travel options by comparing flights, accommodations, transportation, and associated costs to secure the most cost-effective solutions.
• Drive travel cost optimization and continuous improvement by identifying savings opportunities, improving processes, and proposing efficient scheduling and transportation methods.
• Provide 24/7 support for business travel emergencies and ensure timely resolution of travel-related issues for employees.
• Manage travel-related purchasing activities, including issuing Purchase Orders and ensuring the required internal approval cycles are completed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a travel agency, corporate travel, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of travel agency operations, travel industry regulations, and compliance requirements, including experience managing flights, hotels, tickets, and visas.
• Experience working with travel agencies within large organizations, with exposure to corporate travel policies, agreements, and cost management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with a demonstrated focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of Concur and SAP is preferred, with procurement experience considered an advantage.
