About the job Vendor Coordinator Intern (Hybrid)
Job Description
As a Vendor Management Intern, you will support the Vendor Management team in recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with freelance linguists and language service providers. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the localization industry and the opportunity to develop skills in recruitment, communication, vendor coordination, and operations.
Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing, screening, and recruiting freelance linguists and external vendors across different languages and specializations.

Support the expansion and maintenance of multilingual vendor databases.

Coordinate with the Project Management team regarding resource requests and vendor availability.

Help assess vendor qualifications by coordinating test translations and collecting required documentation.

Maintain accurate vendor records, profiles, and contracts in internal systems.

Assist with vendor onboarding and ensure all required documents are completed.

Support contract preparation and follow up on contract renewals when needed.

Coordinate with the Finance team to assist with vendor payment tracking and documentation.

Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors through timely communication and follow-ups.

Conduct market research to identify new language professionals and industry trends.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Vendor Management team as required.
Qualifications

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Google Workspace is a plus.

Interest in the localization, translation, or language services industry is a plus.
