Roles & Responsibilities
The eCommerce Visual Designer will take ownership of the full lifecycle of creative assets, ensuring they are organized, accurate, on-brand, and optimized for performance across eCommerce, retail, and sales channels. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and execution-focused professional who can manage high volumes of work, maintain structured asset systems, and deliver conversion-driven creative outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Organization & System Ownership
- Build and maintain a centralized asset system across tools such as Air, Dropbox, and Plytix
- Implement consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and version control
- Ensure accuracy between working files and final approved assets, uploading and categorizing assets within 24 hours of creation
- Maintain a structured and accessible asset library to eliminate inefficiencies and confusion
PDP & Conversion-Focused Creative
- Own the creation and updates of Product Detail Page (PDP) imagery across platforms including Sam s Club, Costco, Shopify, and retail partners
- Translate product benefits into clear, compelling visuals and copy that drive conversion and meet retailer guidelines
- Continuously optimize content for clarity, hierarchy, and performance
Product Copy & Messaging Execution
- Write and refine product descriptions, PDP copy, and packaging copy with a focus on clarity and conversion
- Develop headlines and feature descriptions aligned with brand tone and target audience
- Adapt messaging to meet retailer-specific requirements while maintaining consistency
Packaging Execution
- Execute packaging design updates and new concepts accurately and efficiently
- Ensure consistency across SKUs, formats, and product lines while maintaining brand standards
- Improve clarity and perceived quality of product packaging
Retail Decks & Sales Materials
- Design and produce retail decks and sales materials aligned with product positioning
- Create data-driven materials that communicate product performance effectively to sales teams and retail partners
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in eCommerce and retail design, including PDP imagery and packaging design
- Experience managing assets across tools such as Air, Dropbox, and Plytix
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools such as Canva or Figma
- Strong copywriting skills for product descriptions, headlines, and marketing content
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to execute quickly while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Ability to structure and optimize creative workflows for efficiency and scalability
