IT Project Manager
Nexa TG · New Cairo, Egypt · Full-time · Remote
ABOUT THE ROLE
Nexa TG is hiring an IT Project Manager to join our enterprise delivery team. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role designed for a delivery-focused professional who can bridge the gap between technical Web Development squads and senior business stakeholders within high-scale Telecom and digital transformation environments.
The IT Project Manager serves as the primary project ambassador — internally and externally — and is accountable for the direction, coordination, execution, and successful completion of all assigned projects, while maintaining alignment with the organization's strategic goals and commitments.
If you are a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure, commands both Agile and Waterfall methodologies with equal confidence, and can drive complex programmes from configuration to completion, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery & Planning
Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, scheduling, execution, and formal closure of enterprise-scale digital projects, with a focus on Web Development and Telecom integrations. Develop feasible, realistic project plans that achieve defined objectives and align with the organisation's overall business strategy. Define project scopes and objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring viability and strategic fit. Define, schedule, and accurately estimate task durations to develop and maintain a reliable project schedule. Manage budgets by producing accurate estimates and continuously monitoring actual spend against the approved plan. Apply appropriate change-control techniques to manage variations in scope, schedule, and cost. Track increment planning and maintain up-to-date status reports, preserving a complete record of all historical reports. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and metrics, and compare results against the baseline plan.
Agile & Scrum Leadership
Coordinate and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Product Backlog Refinement, and Squad Health Checks. Coach the development team daily on Scrum principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organisation. Collaborate with the Product Owner and Development Team to maintain, prioritise, and refine the Product Backlog. Facilitate Sprint Reviews and use outcomes to work with product management in updating the backlog accordingly. Protect the Sprint Backlog from scope creep and serve as the team's primary impediment-removal resource. Embrace a servant-leader approach across Scrum teams, proactively identifying and resolving internal and cross-functional dependencies. Act as liaison between stakeholders and teams to negotiate Sprint scope and manage expectations at every stage.
Stakeholder, Team & Communication Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and global vendors. Communicate project status clearly and consistently to all targeted audiences — executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams alike. Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and consensus among team members and dependent cross-functional teams. Build and maintain positive, trust-based partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in team development by removing roadblocks, providing mentoring, and optimising the use of organisational resources to increase delivery capacity. Promote team empowerment by ensuring each member is fully engaged, making meaningful contributions, and progressing towards a high-performing team model. Organise and coordinate cross-functional and remote resources to drive consistent process adherence and on-time, on-budget delivery.
Quality, Risk & Governance
Secure the satisfaction of all involved stakeholders by reporting on progress, remaining open to feedback, and taking corrective action where necessary. Actively monitor, identify, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining documented mitigation plans and ensuring a swift, systematic response to escalations. Manage all aspects of project documentation: creation, collection, formal sign-off, and archiving. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as required to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
