Key Accountabilities
1. Continuous Improvement Strategy & Governance
- Develop and deploy the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with corporate and business objectives.
- Establish governance framework, CI roadmap, and prioritization model across all supply chain functions (Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Distribution).
- Lead cross-functional CI steering committees and performance reviews.
2. Process Optimization & Excellence
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Standardize best practices across business units and sites.
- Ensure integration of Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive simplification and elimination of non-value-added activities.
3. Performance Management & Analytics
- Define and monitor supply chain KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, service level, cost-to-serve).
- Utilize advanced analytics to identify improvement opportunities and root causes.
- Lead performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms at corporate level.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on improvement initiatives.
- Act as a key interface between corporate and site supply chain teams.
- Support alignment between global standards and local execution.
5. Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Lead digital CI initiatives including automation, advanced planning systems, and data visibility tools.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance supply chain agility and resilience.
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams on system enhancements.
6. Capability Building & Culture Development
- Develop CI capabilities across supply chain teams through training, coaching, and certification programs (Lean / Six Sigma).
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Identify and develop CI champions across functions.
7. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all CI initiatives comply with pharmaceutical regulatory standards (GxP, GDP, etc.).
- Integrate quality and compliance considerations into process improvements.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive improvement initiatives.
