Responsibilities:Budget Development: Assist in the development of project budgets, including estimating costs for materials, labor, and equipment. Cost Monitoring: Track project expenditures and compare them against the budget to identify variances and potential issues. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on budget status, forecasts, and variances to project management and stakeholders. Data Analysis: Analyze data related to costs and project performance to identify trends, forecast future expenses, and support decision-making. Change Management: Evaluate the financial impact of changes in project scope and assess the need for budget adjustments. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure that all costs are accounted for and controlled. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks that could affect project costs and develop mitigation strategies. Compliance: Ensure that all financial practices adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to cost control processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture) Proven experience as a Cost Engineer2-4 years of experience
