Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria for a Freight Operations Specialist. The responsibilities include managing daily freight operations, overseeing shipment processes, coordinating with clients and partners, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves addressing logistical challenges, optimizing operations, and supporting the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data analysis, and efficiency improvement Excellent Communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders Background in Sales to support client management and business development Proficiency in Operations Management and Project Management to oversee freight and logistics processes Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments Proficient in logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field Previous experience in freight or logistics operations is highly advantageous
