-Administer strategy (sales, marketing, pricing), budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives in agreement with the Sales Manager and the Division Director of Shell Lubricants.
-Follow the instructions of the Sales Manager regarding Shell’s sales strategy and approach, deployment of the product portfolio, and development of white spaces and opportunities.
-Monitor customers’ product needs, competitor activity, and product development.
-Keep track of sales figures and trends with the aim of achieving the budget and the set targets.
-Keep track of customer receivables and ensure on-time payment.
-Visit accounts on a monthly basis.
-Offer technical support to the customers if possible.
-Prospect continually for potential customers.
-Undertake market updates/studies and keep updated customer profiles.
-Monitor and manage continually the needs, availability and proper level of stocks of materials.
-Liaise with the suppliers on technical and purchasing matters to boost sales and prepare reports to the suppliers as requested.
-Present new ideas / identify new business opportunities and prepare, if accepted by top management, the respective marketing plans and budgets.
-Prepare comprehensive sales/development reports on “Salesforce” for all interactions with customers and suppliers. Prepare other reports as and when needed.
-This is in addition to the functional tasks decided by the company
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or relevant, etc…)-Relevant professional certification is a plus.- 4 to 8 years of experience.- Experience in sales &Technical (Lubricants & applications). - Significant Sales experience.- Have engineering knowledge in industry or transport, or related discipline
