Mechanical Maintenance Planning Engineer

Job Purpose

• • • • Improve the efficiency and productivity of each own personnel and third Party
      • service in Maintenance through good Planning.
      • Follow up and optimization of all preventive and corrective tasks to reach the targets of equipment availability / reliability at the lowest sustainable maintenance cost.
      • Collaboration with all involved departments to achieve the target model.
      • Following the group maintenance guidelines (MAC).
      • Generate and follow up purchase request for material, Spare and wear parts, ensuring just in time delivery and optimization of NMC.
        
        
        
        
        

Key Responsibilities

1-Health & Safety:

• Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation, as well as the Company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards.
• Ensure the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
• Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
• Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities).
  
  
  

2-Functional:

• Take care of his own development needs and to train maintenance people on planning requirements
• Generate purchase requisitions as well as third party service contracts requisitions for major shutdowns and ensure that all required materials and service will be delivered on time
• Control the expenses during work planning as well as work execution according to the approved budget
• Control the inventory Level Versus the guide value
• Contribute to Planning and purchasing of CAPEX through identifying the needs, providing technical requirements, Support tendering, Providing input for suppliers evaluation
• Assure that standard and repetitive jobs come with standard work orders (Task List)
• Lead the weekly KPIs follow up meeting as well as work scheduling confirmation for Week N+1
• Lead the preparation and consolidation of the shutdown Planning (Personnel, Spares, Third party services, Tools, Equipment, Time and Critical Path)
• Prepare and optimize of the weekly workload balancing
• Prioritize the notifications received from condition monitoring department and other creators and issue the corresponding corrective maintenance order
• Monitor and follow up tasks defined in Major shutdown on a daily basis
• Participate in RCA meeting of repetitive long-time failures and plan for the execution of the corrective actions
• Continuous improvement leads after action review for shutdown or mayor repairs
• Assure that all work orders have the required H&S information and that all legal requirements (Safety, Environment, maintenance) are in the yearly preventive maintenance plan and are execute
  
  
  

Education

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
  
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, crusher ,ball mills ,kilns ,fans ,pet coke equipment ,AFR equipment Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits, Knowledge of open gear reducers, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, non-destructive tests and, critical sensors, electrical drives ,ESP, transformers Local Safety rules and regulations / Knowledge of quality management methods (ISO 9002), Knowledge of cement process / Knowledge of project management techniques, Computer literacy / CMMS
  
  
  

Experience:

• 1 - 3 Years’ experience dealing with production or maintenance, one-year experience with definition and implementation of preventive maintenance.
