Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – BIMDisciplines: Electrical | Mechanical | Civil | Architecture Location: Dokki, Giza Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: On-site Job Summary A leading BIM and engineering company is looking for QA/QC Engineers to join our team across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Architecture disciplines. The selected candidates will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, quality, coordination, and compliance of engineering drawings, BIM models, and technical deliverables before submission. Key Responsibilities Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, and BIM models to ensure accuracy and quality. Verify deliverables against project requirements, approved design, specifications, and applicable standards. Identify technical errors, discrepancies, and coordination issues. Review BIM models and deliverables according to project BIM standards, LOD, and BEP requirements. Check the consistency and accuracy of drawings and models across different disciplines. Coordinate with BIM Engineers, Technical Office, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues. Review project revisions and ensure that all comments are properly addressed. Perform quality checks before final submission. Prepare and maintain QA/QC checklists, reports, and quality records. Ensure that all deliverables comply with the required quality standards and project deadlines. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture according to the relevant discipline.2–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, BIM, Technical Office, or a related engineering field. Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation. Good knowledge of relevant BIM software and tools. Experience with Revit, Auto CAD, and Navisworks is preferred. Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD, BEP, and project workflows. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines. Discipline-Specific Requirements Electrical:Strong knowledge of Electrical BIM models, systems, drawings, and coordination. Mechanical:Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems, drawings, and BIM coordination. Civil:Strong knowledge of Civil/Structural drawings, BIM models, and technical coordination. Architecture:Strong knowledge of Architectural drawings, construction details, BIM models, and coordination. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in BIM consultancy or engineering consultancy. Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM quality control procedures. Experience working on large-scale and multidisciplinary projects. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
